A few days ago I got an email from a subscriber. He asked … I’m attempting to create my desires but fear and anxiety keep creeping in. And then there are a build-up of bad habits, lack conditioning, low self-esteem and the tendency to focus on my previous failures. What should I do? The Law of Attraction is a powerful tool for positive realization in your life.
Firstly, I highly commend this person for asking this question. Number one, he acknowledges that part of his active thoughts and feelings are negative. Many people I know working with the Law of Attraction, especially the self-titled ‘spiritual’ ones, deny that they have any negativity present in their energy. It wouldn’t be spiritual after all. Please!
It is of utmost importance to know what’s going off in your mind and take control of it. The fact that you think and feel this way indicates that it’s active in your vibration. You will continue attracting situations that mirror back to you reasons to experience anxiety and dissapointment. Using the Law of Attraction is hugely helpful for Relationship Attraction, and it’s not hard to understand.
Einstein said: No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it. He was talking about tapping into the a higher order of being. For me that means releasing into Universal Love and Abundance, or the Divine organizing power of Source. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could just flip a switch and let go and let God, as they say? Simpler theorized than put into practice most of the time for many of us. However, you can start by committing to a daily practice of looking for aspects of your life to be grateful for. Look for the love and goodness in your life as it is right now. That is a gigantic and immediate vibration raiser.
If you can do your best to make peace with where you are you’ll instantly be letting go of resisting what you want. Do not worry that making peace with your present circumstances will attract more of it to you. It won’t. But you will be doing the very important step of releasing resistance. You see, prolonged attention on your circumstances causes you to attract more of that same stuff. So easing up a bit and searching for aspects in your life to appreciate will open your vibration. You cannot hold your attention on a thing and exclude it from your vibration.
After you’ve clarified what you desire to attract into your life, the next step is to find out what thoughts and feelings you actually have concerning the likelihood of your manifesting what you want. Is self-worth part of it? Is your track record and the past getting your attention? I suggest journaling what is present in your beliefs and then making affirmations that soften a little with each one until you can perceive what it is like to already be experiencing what you desire as if it is present right now.
