Do not stress over the ‘how’ and ‘when’ it needs to appear. Do not micro-manage the Universe by explaining how your life is going to unfold. Your only job is to be in the mode of getting what you desire by practicing experiencing goodness and allowing it in.
It is not your fault that you have learned low expectation, experience anxiety, or critique people. After all, didn’t we learn, “the squeaky wheel receives the oil?” We all received these habits of thinking from our upbringing. It isn’t your fault, but it is on you to change your habits if you no longer want to take what is handed to you. Find out how to choose your thoughts and emotions intentionally. Then you will be a deliberate creator instead of a victim of circumstance.
Nothing is wrong with wanting to be fulfilled in any and all areas of life. Make note of the internal dialogue you have about your worthiness, or the chance of your desires being fulfilled and just keep choosing a more empowering inner conversation. Life is supposed to be good and you are worthy. The power truly is in your hands.
